Learn about the typical coastal vegetation and nearshore marine life that was abundant on most Fiji islands before being lost due to degradation, overuse and invasive species.
Bring shoes, hats, swimming gear, sunscreen, lunch, water, have a swim and marvel at Makuluva’s wildlife, knowing that it started as a sandbank on the reef and became a partially limestone reef islet or cay through the years.
- Destination: Makuluva Island. 70 mins boat ride.
- Meet at 7.00 am at the Suva Yatch Club,
- 12.30pm Depart Makuluva Island
- Cost $25 for NatureFiji member. $30 for non-member
- Minimum Age: 7 years.
