Francis Saladrau

Francis Saladrau joined NatureFiji-MareqetiViti as an intern in August 2019. She has mainly
helped with desk research on the Giant Invasive Iguana and assisting in data collection for the
Upper Navua Conservation Area desk research. Francis is also engaged in the Kulawai
Campaign Project, and was part of the team that went to Vatu-i-Ra for the monitoring of the
Black Noddy bird species. In addition, she provides administrative support.
Francis is currently studying at Fiji National University, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in
Forestry. She hopes to learn more about invasive species and how they can be controlled. She
is also interested in wildlife management and conserving our natural flora and fauna.
