Kelera Macedru began as a volunteer at NatureFiji-MareqetiViti in 2009 and then served as both a Conservation Officer and Membership Secretary for the organisation. She worked with our Site Support Groups youth members in Nadala Village and later as logistics personnel with the Fiji Petrel Project in Gau Island. She also developed the field guide for the Upper Navua River Conservation Area, which was Fiji’s first RAMSAR site.
Kelera is from Navuniivi in Ra. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of the South Pacific, with a double major in Chemistry and Biology.
