A large turnout at the 3rd NFMV Annual General Meeting at USP heard plans for 2011.
Turnout was very good despite the weather at the Annual General Meeting of the Fiji Nature Conservation Trust.
The Annual General Meeting was held on the 30th of September where a total of 36 people gathered at the Warbler House, USP Marine Campus.
Agenda for the day included project updates by Conservation coordinator, Nunia Thomas and a presentation on the ongoing Fiji Petrel research at Gau Island by project officer Eleazer O’Connor.
Dick Watling, Trustee- Director for NFMV reported on the 2009 NFMV financials that were circulated recently to members.
Included was a full audit of the finances of the Trust.
Future plans have been presented to members where NFMV is to become an Affiliate of Birdlife International and work towards becoming a Partner.
